Alvin Chong

Alvin is the Lead Advisor at The Risk Dock, he is responsible for Partner Engagement and Service Solutioning.

Alvin has a diverse background – construction, telecommunication, fintech, logistics and healthcare, and has more than 20 years of experience developing, implementing and leading various risk ERM and ORM programs in both public and private sector entities in Singapore as well as countries in the APAC and EMEA region.

Prior to joining The Risk Dock, Alvin was from the Ministry of Finance, Singapore, where he had successfully implemented ERM which integrates into the Strategy Development process. Alvin is thoroughly fluent with both local and international ERM standards and has working knowledge in other risk-related domains, namely Regulatory Compliance, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Corporate Insurance, Internal Audit, and Information Security.

Alvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Banking and Finance from the London School of Economics. He is also a certified professional Enterprise Risk Management manager and auditor, IBF Compliance qualified practitioner and an ACTA certified Trainer.

Damien Chia

Damien is part of the management team in The Risk Dock where he looks after back-office services such as vendor management, technology support etc.

Prior joining The Risk Dock, Damien was a Service Delivery Manager, with more than 10 years’ experience in the IT domain with an advertising and digital imaging background, where he was involved in leading major IT Transformation Projects and Project Management for major infrastructure in the Asia Pacific region.

Damien holds a Bachelor degree in Information and Technology from the Queensland University of Australia. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP certified) as well as a LEAN Green belt holder.
