What We Heard & Saw
Everyone knows what is risk management or even ERM, but few can articulate how exactly that works in or for their business and even fewer has seen the full benefit of what ERM can bring, largely due to:

- Incorrect understanding and application of the ERM practice.
- ERM practice failed to evolve to match the actual or changing needs of the business.
- Hesitance to embark on the journey, as the cost of implementation and maintenance significantly outweighs the benefits or the current business needs.
Many who are involved in ERM programs felt frustrations with its process and had overall negative experience as ERM program seems to be -
- Taking up a lot of time and effort from everyone.
- A paper academic exercise without real value.

- ERM program must produce risk data that the business finds useful, helpful or relevant in supporting certain processes or decision. Otherwise, the program needs to be re-calibrated (revised or updated).

Who We Are
The Risk Dock is formed by a group of risk and compliance practitioners who have spent years setting up, implementing and leading various risk (ERM) and Compliance functions in various industries; and is helmed by a multi-industry veteran with more than 20 years of hands on experience in the practice.
The Name & The Concept
The Risk Dock (like how a dock works) provides an efficient stop-over for businesses to receive vital supplies - in terms of updates pertaining to the latest best practices, acquire new knowledge and competency before embarking on their journey.
